THE OPPORTUNITYAs Head Chef of our award-winning kitchen, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a small culinary team to deliver exceptional food and service, maintaining high standards of consistency and quality
- Shaping a memorable dining experience for our guests through your expertise and vision
- Designing and implementing new menu concepts that respond to the needs and tastes of target markets
- Managing seasonal menu changes
- Ensuring adherence to budgets by monitoring food costs and wages
- Conducting internal audits and remedying any issues of non-compliance or poor performance, enforcing stock management policies and procedures
- End-to-end recruitment for senior chefs, performance management, training and development, succession planning for kitchen team
WHO ARE YOUAs a driven, passionate and detail-orientated individual, you will embody the following attributes and skills:
- Minimum 3 years Head Chef experience in a high-volume venue
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of food preparation and service.
- Experience in managing seasonal fresh cook-to-order menu's.
- Knowledge and experience of kitchen food safety systems.
- Can work under pressure, utilising strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate kitchen operations and meet deadlines.
- Excellent team player who collaborates seamlessly with all colleagues.
- Exceptional leadership qualities and communication skills, enabling you to inspire, motivate your team to consistently deliver excellence.
- Relevant expertise for stocktaking and cost control.
