Team background
This is a newly created position responsible for driving our business development (strategy and execution) in the Australian market. You will build and lead our Australian go-to-market team, including the immediate management responsibility for our existing BD team members.
Who we need
An individual with a deep understanding of how renewable energy projects get done in the Australian market, with that perspective gained through a track record of success in the industry. We need a leader who can define, refine and execute our overall go-to-market playbook for success in both the commercial and industrial (C&I) and the small front-of-meter (FTM) battery energy storage markets.
We define success as a steady march towards BESS market share leadership, leveraging our patented technology and the unique advantages that come with being an Australian company.
Our target candidate will have proven success in a similar business development role, with demonstrated experience in building strategic relationships, developing complex projects, and consistently getting the job done in a competitive market. They should be ready and able to help us build Relectrify’s brand as the future of battery energy storage in Australia.
What you’ll be doing

Compensation
The position offers market-competitive salary along with an incentive compensation scheme tied to our business development objectives. In addition, we offer the highly unique opportunity to participate in the ownership of Relectrify through our Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP).
Location
The position offers the flexibility of hybrid work between your home and our Melbourne office. Domestic travel will be required from time to time.
