A client of ours is looking for a Head of Delivery Transformation. Your new role The Head of Delivery Transformation is accountable for enterprise-wide transformation of delivery practices to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase delivery predictability.Reporting to the senior technology executive, this role:
Defines enterprise delivery
Establishes standardised, fit for purpose delivery and prioritisation frameworks
Leads the shift to lean, flow-based, transparent ways of working
Drives leadership behaviour change and delivery capability uplift
The role operates as a senior change agent, partnering with executive leaders to challenge legacy practices, address systemic delivery pain points, and enable measurable outcomes across speed, agility, cost efficiency, and workforce effectiveness. Key AccountabilitiesEnterprise Delivery Transformation
Design and embed a streamlined enterprise delivery model aligned to organisational context.
Lead transformation of Project Management and Agile practices to optimise flow efficiency.
Transition delivery approaches away from traditional waterfall models toward value-driven, outcome-focused delivery.
Review funding and investment models and recommend changes that support value creation and flow.
Systems & Processes
Establish an enterprise-wide prioritisation framework to ensure the right work is delivered at the right time.
Define and implement standardised delivery processes with strong cross-business buy-in.
Translate strategic objectives into executable delivery pathways.
Leadership Alignment & Cultural Change
Partner with executive and senior leaders to align leadership behaviours to new delivery ways of working.
Foster organisational agility across delivery, governance, and reporting.
Develop and reinforce a clear transformation narrative linked to tangible outcomes.
Lead change activities including capability uplift, coaching, training, and reinforcement.
Demonstrate strong executive presence, including the ability to respectfully challenge senior leaders and negotiate outcomes.
Capability Uplift
Define clear enterprise delivery capability requirements aligned to the target operating model.
Align structures and accountabilities to enable sustained capability uplift.
Build organisational understanding of modern delivery practices.
Articulate the enterprise delivery and roadmap to delivery excellence.
Customer & Digital First: Uses data and digital tools to improve outcomes and experiences.
People Leadership: Develops capability, coaches leaders, and supports future-ready teams.
Business Acumen: Drives operational efficiency, delivery performance, and value realisation.
Trust & Integrity: Builds trusted relationships with stakeholders through transparency and accountability.
Strategic Leadership: Leads change, solves complex problems, and aligns execution to strategy.
