Head of Experience ( Marketing )

Prahran Market is looking to attract a new Head of Experience to help shape the vision, brand and marketing communications for this vibrant shopping and destination experience 

Established in 1864 , Prahran Market is a vibrant and iconic destination for food lovers and culture enthusiasts alike. But now it about to undergo a new wave of transformation to create the ultimate market experience in many different ways. 

The Head of Experience will work closely with the CEO to shape this new vision to to enhance it’s appeal with the local community and also to attract a new generation of market customers .

The right person will love the challenge of working across the full range of marketing responsibilities 

• New vision incorporating a new concept positioning and business plan 
• Development of marketing and communication strategies 
• Producing the Event and Activity calendar across the full year 
• Sharing the stories and excitement across multiple media and online channels
• Commercial partnership and sponsorships 
• New product and concept initiatives to attract , trial and test at the market 

Ideally we are looking for a great marketer…..

• Possibly from a retail, events, tourism , leisure or a fast paced consumer background that really understands the customer 
• Skilled in the use of all advertising channels including media, public relations , socials
• Experience in data analysis including consumer research, service metrics , customer feedback and the ability to deliver insight for great market experiences 
•  Creating EVENTS , Festivals and promotional activations 
•  A curious mind to seek and find new and interesting concepts that will surprise and delight market shoppers 

This role is full on and the right person will work closely with the traders across the week and including selected weekends when the market is buzzing.
