Head of Finance & Property

Our client is a local Melbourne institution that has been trading for over 100 years. They are currently going through a transformative period with new investment, leadership and a regeneration plan.

To ensure this new era is a successful and prosperous one, they are seeking a Head of Finance and Property to join the organization on a permanent basis.

The role

• Financial and Management Accounting - Budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Manage all finance personnel
• Oversee all financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
• Oversee procurement and contract activities
• Property Accounting
• Development of systems and reporting for property accounting
• Participation in tenancy and leasing forums
• The development of business cases and investment planning
• Management of commercial partnerships and sponsorship
• Run half year and year end audit process
• Take ownership over Grant and funding applications
• Capex management
• Oversee cashflow to align with project development

About you

• Experience in Property Management – ideally Retail assets
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and reporting skills, in-depth knowledge of financial regulations
• Strong communication across all levels of stakeholders
• Qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field. (Masters or CPA preferred)
