About the Role
As the Head of Financial Services Industry (FSI), you’ll spearhead our expansion across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, driving strategic growth in the Financial Services sector through the power of Data & AI.
You’ll leverage your deep industry relationships, commercial acumen, and understanding of banking transformation to unlock opportunities where our consulting services can deliver measurable business value.
You will work collaboratively with our Partners & Directors across Australia to lead engagement strategies, shaping how we position, win, and deliver high-impact data and AI programs that underpin banking modernisation.
Beyond business development, you’ll ensure projects are commercially sound, outcomes are met, and relationships deepen over time. You will be instrumental in removing roadblocks, guiding teams, and representing our expertise at the executive level.
This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship-driven leader with a strong Financial Services background who thrives at the intersection of technology, AI, and business transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead our go-to-market strategy for FSI, focusing on data-driven transformation and AI adoption.
Build and nurture relationships at the C-level within major banks and financial institutions.
Identify, qualify, and secure multi-workstream transformation engagements
Collaborate with Partners across sectors to ensure consistent positioning and delivery excellence within the broader FSI ecosystem (banking, insurance, superannuation).
Drive account growth strategies aligned with customer outcomes, supported by delivery teams and technology alliances.
Provide strategic oversight and executive engagement on key programs to ensure successful outcomes.
Partner with leading technology vendors (AWS, Microsoft, Google, Databricks, Snowflake and others) to co-develop market propositions and joint opportunities.
Mentor and empower internal teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence.
Role Requirements
Proven track record selling large-scale data or AI-driven transformation programs within major financial institutions
Deep relationships and credibility within Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, ideally across technology, data, AI and business domains.
Strong consulting sales experience with a history of influencing C-level decision-makers.
Solid understanding of AI strategy, data modernisation within regulated environments.
Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiation, account planning, and sales leadership.
Strong industry insight into operational, risk, and regulatory challenges facing the banking sector.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to align strategic priorities across stakeholders.
