About the role

The Global Head of Insurance is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and executing TWE's global insurance strategy across a complex multinational business. You will lead global insurance programs, risk financing, claims and captive management arrangements, while providing project advisory support on key business initiatives, transformation activities and M&A transactions. Partnering closely with senior leaders, brokers and insurers, you will deliver commercial outcomes, strengthen resilience and protect some of the world's most recognised luxury wine brands.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead TWE's global insurance strategy and program portfolio
• Manage risk financing, claims and captive insurance activities
• Optimise insurer, broker and service provider partnerships
• Provide strategic insurance advice on projects and transactions
• Partner with executives to manage enterprise insurance risks

Who we’re looking for

You are an accomplished insurance executive who combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen and strategic influence.

• Global insurance SME with multinational experience
• Expertise across risk financing, insurance placement and claims
• Strong understanding of captive management and governance
• Track record influencing senior leaders and complex stakeholders
• Experienced in supporting growth, transformation and M&A initiatives
• Commercial negotiator with strong broker and insurer networks
• Proactive, pragmatic and outcome-focused in your approach
• Degree qualified in insurance, risk management or a related discipline, with RIMS Australasia or equivalent membership
