Head of Housekeeping & Quality Control - Hiring Urgently

Belle Escapes Glenelg, a premier holiday management services provider, are looking for a motivated, organised, energetic and determined individual who is excited to be a part of the Belle Property network.

Your key duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Daily Room & Key checks

Ensuring high level of cleanliness and standards are kept in the apartments.

• Maintenance liaison 

Manage maintenance and liaising with contractors & owners about work that needs to be done. Meeting contractors onsite, process work orders and follow ups.

• Stock and Linen management and preparation 

Working with cleaners to make sure apartments are kept stocked up with amenities. 
Ordering, managing and preparing stock and linen for various apartments.

• General cleaning 

Willing to get hands on when additional cleaning may be required between cleaners or guests to ensure apartments are kept up to a high standard. This may include some mid stay and deep cleans.

• General guest management

Responding to reviews and guest correspondence via email or phone, including being on call out of office hours and weekends in case of emergencies. This will be on rotation and shared with other team members.

• Reliable and be willing to take on a diverse range of tasks.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude
• Previous experience in housekeeping/hospitality would be ideal. 
• Reliable car/drivers licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability outside of traditional working hours, e.g. weekends
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Attention to detail
• Organised
• Be able to take initiative & work on your own
• Must have own car and valid drivers license

This role is not a traditional 9 am-5 pm position, as guests may require assistance outside normal working hours and some checks and cleans will need to be done over weekends. On call rotation will only be every 2-3 weeks.

Min 25 Hours - 38 Hours depending on the season.
