We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of HP Operations to join our Human Pharma business in Australia and New Zealand reporting to the General Manager ANZ

This senior leadership role oversees the implementation of successful operations that bring together business goals, customer insights, and technological capabilities to meet business objectives and recognized customer needs.

You will lead and manage the ANZ HP Operations Team, empowering team members and functions to implement and optimize defined Go-To-Market activities in accordance with the regional operating model and roadmap.

Working in partnership with Therapeutic Area teams, including commercial and medical, and other business functions, you will ensure the timely execution of regional roadmap workstreams and activities relevant to ANZ.

As a member of the Regional Leadership Team and the ANZ Human Pharma Leadership Committee, you will identify shared opportunities, represent ANZ needs and work cross-functionally to improve business operations and customer experience.

This role offers the opportunity to lead transformation across customer engagement, business planning, campaign and content management, capability building, platforms, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ANZ contributions to the regional Customer Engagement Model, delivering customer value and business objectives across touchpoints.


• Oversee ANZ planning, forecasting and market intelligence, translating trends into recommendations for Therapeutic Area teams and the Human Pharma Leadership Committee.


• Coordinate and optimise campaigns and content plans aligned with customer and business goals, using existing channels and reporting outcomes.


• Document business requirements and innovation opportunities for regional review.


• Enable efficient end-to-end content management, from editorial planning to customer delivery.


• Oversee ANZ capability building with the regional team to deliver the Go-To-Market roadmap.


• Ensure compliance with healthcare professional regulations, the Code of Conduct, pharmacovigilance requirements, procedures and laws.


• Drive collaboration across Therapeutic Area, Human Pharma, Medical, Sales, Marketing, IT, regional teams, group functions and agencies.


• Lead and develop a capable, motivated team committed to delivering objectives and living Boehringer Ingelheim values.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in science, Business, Marketing or a related discipline; MBA preferred.


• Proven people leadership, management, development and coaching capability.


• Ability to conceptualise, develop, deliver and optimise Go-To-Market processes, tools, training and best practices.


• Proven project management and change management skills.


• Expert analytical skills with strong commercial and business understanding.


• Strong customer focus, teamwork, result orientation and commitment to driving excellence and performance.
