What you will be doing…

Reporting to our Chief People Officer, as the Head of People & Culture for our UK site, you'll find that there's a bit of everything in this generalist role and you'll be wearing many hats.

You'll play an active role in managing tactical day to day operational HR initiatives, whilst also creating and delivering initiatives (but not limited to!) that will drive ED&I, employee well-being, development, engagement and high performance. Here's a taste of what you'll be up to:

  • Developing and continuously improving initiatives to enhance our EVP
  • Developing and implementing succession planning strategies that identify and prepare high-potential employees for future leadership roles, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives & promoting a diverse and inclusive leadership pipeline
  • Coaching, supporting and providing feedback to managers and the People Team on complex people matters / ER
  • Ensuring our people are always listened to through formal & informal initiatives
  • Evaluating and improving our people processes
  • Leading the charge on well-being, diversity, equity and inclusion, fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected
  • Being the go to person for day to day HR support, handling ER issues with fairness and sensitivity
  • Spotting any training needs & creating tailored development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities
  • Keeping the People admin ship sailing smoothly, including all payroll, benefits administration and record keeping

Who are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in HR management roles in fast growth, value based cultures
  • High levels of energy, inspiring, fast working, personable and confident
  • A hands on, roll your sleeves up approach with an ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of our employees, ensuring a high level of employee engagement
  • Experience partnering closely with all levels, providing leadership and direction on business decision-making, people management, problem solving and performance management
  • Experience creating and driving the People agenda in high growth businesses
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with fine-tuned instincts and the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Adaptable and flexible in your approach, you easily navigate ambiguous and rapidly changing priorities
  • Experienced in leading organisational change initiatives
