Position: Head of People Partnering

Overview: We seek a dynamic and experienced Head of People Partnering to join our team in Southbank, Brisbane. This pivotal role reports directly to our Chief People Officer and is crucial to delivering our human resources strategy, supporting business growth, and enhancing employee experience across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of HR Business Partners and People & Culture Coordinators to provide support to the business leaders in all people matters
  • Oversee and manage ER/IR case load including employee issues, grievances and complaints identifying systemic issues across the network
  • Develop and implement strategies for team development and organisational growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Talent and Organizational Development teams to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices.
  • Drive change management initiatives and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior leadership and business units.
  • Develop and implement P&C policies and drive efficient procedures.
  • Drive the calendar of events to Implement cyclical processes including annual remuneration review, performance assessments, engagement surveys and talent mapping.
  • Lead P&C projects and implement change initiatives to support business change in line with strategic objectives.
  • Use data to identify systemic issues and provide meaningful insights to support business leaders including monthly metrics and employee surveys.
  • Oversee management of workers compensation and return to work claims with a view to minimise operational impact and reduce lost time costs.
  • Support wellbeing initiatives across the country.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably within a large and dynamic organisation.
  • Strong expertise in ER/IR, WHS, and team development.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
  • A commitment to championing diversity, inclusion, and servant leadership principles.
