The opportunity:

We're seeking an experienced Head of Quality Manufacturing to lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Validation across our manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for ensuring the quality, safety and compliance of products manufactured at Blackmores, while partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and Technical teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Leading a team of quality professionals, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our strong quality culture, supporting regulatory compliance, and ensuring we continue to deliver trusted products to consumers across Australia and international markets.

This is a permanent role based at our manufacturing facility in Braeside, Vic.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across QA, QC and Validation functions.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, TGA and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Lead quality oversight of tablet, capsule and soft gel manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, compliance and efficiency.
• Represent Quality during regulatory inspections, audits and external engagements.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety teams to support business objectives while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Develop and coach high-performing teams while fostering a strong culture of accountability and quality excellence.

Who are you?

You are a seasoned quality leader with a strong track record in regulated manufacturing environments and a passion for building quality-first cultures.

• A tertiary qualification in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience leading quality functions within pharmaceutical, complementary medicines, nutraceutical or food manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience across QA, QC and Validation.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, TGA requirements, regulatory inspections and audit management.
• Experience supporting solid dose and/or soft gel manufacturing operations.
• A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and operational functions.
• Strong investigation, problem-solving and risk-based decision-making capabilities.
