Exclusive role with PX Resources
Our client is a financial services business going through growth and transformation.
We are currently working on sourcing a Head of Technology Risk to be part of the 2nd line risk function. This role will take ownership of the technology risk framework including the management of cyber, risk systems, data and AI.
Some of the accountabilities will entail:
- Risk Strategy and framework development
- Thought leadership across data, cyber and AI
- GRC System management and effective deployment
- Ongoing focus on technology to uplift risk and compliance practices across the business
- Development of policies and procedures and related documentation for management of cyber, technology and data risk (e.g. information security policy, data governance, etc)
*please note - this role is based in Brisbane
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidates will be a seasoned risk professional with a focus on management of technology risk and governance. Other points include:
- Demonstrated line 2 group risk experience (ideally with experience building or enhancing frameworks)
- Experience working in a medium to large, complex organisation (financial services preferred but not essential)
- Risk management experience in technology, data, cyber and/or AI as well as an appreciation for emerging risks
- Strong leadership and engagement skills (you will be comfortable in the spotlight)
- Ability to build strong relationships with the ability to leverage the business to deliver your agenda
