Role Highlights:
• Responsible for all aspects of the Australian ballets in Theatre costume needs. For mainstage, Storytime tour and national & international touring.
• Traveling with the company both domestically and internationally
• Working with the in-house costume team pre and post season, on new builds and refurbishments
What you’ll be doing:
• Planning and hiring staff for each season
• Managing all aspects of the wardrobe for each ballet season
• Writing dressing plots and directing the dressing team
• Liaising with artistic and staging teams
What experience you’ll need:
• Extensive experience managing a theatre wardrobe environment
• Costume maintenance and cleaning
• Staff management and scheduling
• Costume making & repairing
