Renowned Chef Alessandro Pavoni and the Maestro Hospitality Team proudly introduce their next Cibaria evolution - Cibaria Noosa, a celebration of all good things Italian – food, wine and hospitality!

Following the success of Cibaria Manly, which opened earlier this year, Cibaria Noosa marks the next chapter in Pavoni’s culinary journey - and his first venue outside of Sydney. Positioned on vibrant Hastings Street and set within the surrounds of the Sofitel Noosa Pacific Resort, Cibaria is an elevated yet approachable expression of contemporary Italian dining, that embraces the European way of socialising, all day every day.

Drawing on Italy’s rich culinary heritage and inspired by the vibrant Italian piazza, it offers everything from morning espresso and long coastal lunches to golden-hour aperitivo and relaxed dinners with friends. Every detail at Cibaria is designed to celebrate Italian warmth, flavour, and heartfelt hospitality.

We’re Looking for a Head Sommelier to lead our wine team to lead our wine team to excellence. If you have a passion for wine and a flair for customer service, we want you to be part of our adventure!

• Managing inventory like a pro.
• Crafting and updating our fabulous wine list in collaboration with our chefs and General Manager.
• Supervising wine service and building relationships with winemakers and suppliers for the best selections. •
• Training our Sommeliers and Wine Waiters to keep everyone’s knowledge fresh.
• Curating special wine dinners and events that will wow our guests.
• Guiding customers on the perfect wine pairings for every occasion and budget.
• Ensuring wines are served perfectly, at just the right temperature and with the right glassware.
• Assisting with guest orders and making sure everyone has an unforgettable experience!

• Australian working rights and a current QLD RSA certificate.
• A deep knowledge of wine and food pairing—we love Italian, French, and Australian wines!
• Solid understanding of COGS and formal hospitality qualifications (minimum WSET Level 3).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• A positive attitude, team spirit, and a love for customer service! Bonus points for:
• Experience with Italian cuisine, we love a good pasta pairing!
