Greencross Vets Five Dock is on the hunt for an experienced Head Vet Nurse to join the team at one of Sydney's most vibrant clinics.

Your New Role:

• This role is availbale Part-time OR Full-time!
• Managing a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy Vets
• Guiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team culture
• Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
• Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care
• Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone

About your skills and your experience:

• Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with minimum of 2+ years of experience
• Experience coaching and mentoring Vet Nurses
• Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and procedures
• A calm and friendly presence
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
• Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
