Health and Safety Coordinator - Automotive - Motorcycles

About the role:

Supported by Senior Management, we are seeking an experienced Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator to enhance our safety initiatives and create a secure work environment.

The position is based at Head Office at Springwood and will require regular travel to all locations.

About you:

• Current Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply policy and procedures that meet legislative requirements in regard to Health, Safety, and Environment.
• Flexibility to travel to all inter-state locations.
• Automotive background and knowledge of motorcycles is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing practical safety programs.

Duties will include:

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
• Identifying potential hazards and conducting regular risk assessments across all departments.
• Collaborating with department heads to address safety concerns and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Planning and conducting safety training sessions for employees and management.
• Investigating and reporting incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommending corrective actions.
• Inter-state travel required in NSW, ACT and VIC.
• Maintaining accurate safety records and reports for auditing purposes.
