About the Role As the Health & Wellbeing Specialist in this large business you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining health and wellbeing initiatives, systems and processes in multiple depots across a large geographical area.
This Perth based role is focused on holistic health and wellbeing improvement and you will be front and centre driving their award winning health and wellbeing programme.
This highly successful programme has overwhelming support from the business and executive team and still has a huge potential to make your mark and delve more into the psychosocial space.
As the Health and Wellbeing Specialist your responsibilities will see you:
- Coordinate the delivery of Health and Wellbeing initiatives in line with strategy
- Plan and deliver initiatives that align to the Mental Health & Wellbeing Strategy
- Maintain the Health and Wellbeing program and calendar
- Provide specialist advice on injury prevention initiatives including manual handling, ergonomics, and workstation design, as well as adhoc project working groups as needed
- Conduct risk management activities that address health and wellbeing matters
- Build working relationships with all stakeholders that instils trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
- Proactively manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses towards suitable return to work outcomes
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Health and Safety management system
- Anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, and partner with the business through collaborate and communication to meet shared objectives in the health and wellbeing space
- Monthly planned travel to regional depots across Western Australia to deliver health and wellbeing initiatives and presentations
The Individual - Energetic, forward thinking and collaborative
- Over three years in a health and wellbeing role
- Experience working with a high risk work force
- Able to travel several days per month to regional sites
- A passion for truly improving an employee’s experience
- Allied health background will be favourably viewed
Working arrangements include; Working from the head office in the Perth area, being on-site monthly, and WFH 2 days per week. Flexible working hours.
