• Geelong based role (hybrid work from home – 3 days a week in office)

About the opportunity

We’re seeking an agile, strategic, and people-focused Health Provider Lead for this fixed term position, to lead the charge on delivering impactful initiatives that drive real outcomes across the health and recovery landscape.

As a Health Provider Lead you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative strategies that enhance worker recovery outcomes and provider performance.

You will:

• Lead the design and implementation of health-related programs and service models that support injured workers.


• Drive performance improvement initiatives across the provider landscape.


• Use predictive data and insights to influence decision-making and strategy.


• Build and manage strategic relationships with health providers, industry peak bodies, and internal stakeholders.


• Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting tools, and evidence-based insights to improve health service delivery.


• Represent WorkSafe in key stakeholder forums, workshops and planning meetings.


• Contribute to cross-divisional strategic reviews, ensuring alignment with WorkSafe’s mission and values.

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic leader who combines strategic thinking with strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery expertise.

You will also bring:

• 5–7 years’ experience in leadership and project management, ideally within health, disability, or recovery settings.


• A deep understanding of the legal and operational environment impacting recovery services.


• Strong leadership skills to support teams through change and ambiguity.


• A proven ability to drive positive change in complex environments using data, research and industry trends.


• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.


• A growth mindset, agile delivery experience and a passion for continuous improvement.


• A tertiary qualification in health, project management, business, or a related field.
