  • $124,535 per annum + superannuation

  • Full time, ongoing 

  • Wadawurrung/Geelong based role (hybrid – 3 days minimum in office)


 


About the opportunity


 


At WorkSafe Victoria, our purpose is to reduce workplace harm and improve outcomes for injured workers.


 


As a Health Provider Officer, you'll support the development, delivery and evaluation of initiatives that enhance provider performance and help improve recovery outcomes for injured workers.


 


Working with healthcare providers, agents, industry bodies and internal stakeholders, you'll provide insights and recommendations that help shape treatment and recovery services across the Health & Recovery Division.


 


Key accountabilities


 



  • Support the delivery and evaluation of health and recovery initiatives.

  • Provide advice and manage assigned portfolios to meet business and customer needs.

  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.

  • Contribute to provider performance and contract management activities.

  • Undertake research and analysis to inform policy, program design and business improvements.

  • Prepare reports, briefings, presentations and stakeholder communications.

  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.

About you


 


You're a proactive and analytical professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for improving outcomes. You can translate complex information into practical recommendations, manage competing priorities and work collaboratively to achieve results.


 


To be successful in this role, you will have:


 



  • Knowledge of the health, recovery, disability, insurance or related sectors is desirable.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, rehabilitation, business or a related discipline.

  • Experience building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Experience supporting projects, programs or service improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Experience conducting research and analysis to support business outcomes.
