Heavy Combination (HC) Driver

SeaRoad provides quality, customer focused services through purpose-built RoRo shipping vessels and a logistics infrastructure, which is optimally suited to Bass Strait shipping requirements.

About the role

• Driving HC vehicles.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Transporting freight locally/ between Tasmania sites.
• Performing correct safety procedures at all times
• Day shifts ad possible weekends.

Skills and Experience

• Valid HC driver's license.
• Must complete a pre-employment medical.
• Provide a safe driving history record.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have knowledge of Safe work practices, be compliant with WorkSafe, Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility and Company Policies.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.

Additional Criteria

• Driver able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to operate in a professional and safe manner, ensure timely deliveries.
• Must follow company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.
• Professional presentation and meticulous about fleet presentation.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Good work ethic.
• Reliable and flexible.
• Right to work in Australia.
• DG Licence an advantage.
