Heavy Diesel Mechanic – WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN

CJD Equipment is looking for a Workshop Technician to join their HIGHLY SKILLED Burnie Team. Getting hands on with KENWORTH, DAF AND FUSO TRUCKS and SDLG & VOLVO Construction Equipment will all be in a day’s work and our Mechanics believe that getting the job done right the first-time matters in order to exceed customers’ expectations and keep us ahead of the rest!

A day in the job will see you: 

• Working on TOP BRAND EQUIPMENT & TRUCKS
• Diagnosing, servicing and repairing to customer & CJD standards
• Using computer-based service diagnostics and utilising your knowledge of parts
• Maintaining exceptional standards of safety and quality workmanship

Your application will go to the top of our shortlist if you have: 

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Motor Mechanic trade certificate
• Experience performing maintenance, service, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles and carrying our electrical diagnostics and repairs
• A proactive attitude toward safety – you want to get home in one piece and we want you to as well!
• Experience with PC programs and equipment diagnostic programs
• Previous experience in Transport (HV) and/or Earthmoving equipment
• A stellar attitude and top-notch communication skills
