High Intensity Support Workers with PEG and Stoma - Join a Leading Company

About the role:

Multiple roles in Kilsyth, Brighton East, Port Melbourne, Mulgrave, Kew, Mount Martha, Bittern for support workers with high intensity skillsets. 

Workers with the following certificates and training would be encouraged to apply:

• PEG/J
• Seizure management
• High level of complex hoisting experience
• High BOC - autism, CP, repetitive behaviors, aggression
• At least 4 years experience working with participants of high complex needs
• Catheter management

KEY CRITERIA IS:

• Already sound knowledge in high intensity skills
   

Additional shifts will also be offered from time to time. 
 

To fit into this very friendly family you will be:

• Female only
• Live within 20 minutes of the clients 
• Must be able to hoist confidently 
• Enjoy chatting and engaging with participants particularly those with intellectual disabilities
• Competent with all areas of self care including with showering and toileting
• Have a car
• Have loads of common sense and be autonomous; use self initiative
• VERY RELIABLE
   

We are looking for an immediate start in multiple locations. 
 

You must have;

• Certificate III in Disability Services
• Valid Australian Driver’s License
• Valid CPR Certificate
• Proof of rights to work in Australia
• NDIS Worker Screener Check

The successful candidate will have:

• +4-year experience as a support worker 
• Experience with manual handling techniques 
• Exceptional critical thinking.
• Ability to connect with the client and his family
