The company is a well-established Australian-owned and operated business that possesses a large inventory of small to large-sized access equipment and machines for the construction and maintenance industries. The Position…

In this diverse and fast-paced role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to help coordinate and manage a fleet of 300+ hire machines.

 Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Scheduling daily deliveries and pickups
  


• Taking bookings and assisting customers with hire enquiries
  


• Coordinating drivers and workshop staff
  


• Supporting general administration tasks
  


• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers
  

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work and brings a proactive, solution-focused attitude. While experience in equipment hire, construction, logistics, or a similar industry will be highly regarded, the company is also open to applicants who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes & experience:

• Previous experience with fleet management (desirable)
  


• A machinery or logistics background would be highly advantageous
  


• Experienced in using hire software systems, MYOB and Microsoft Office (desirable)
  


• Ability to work well under pressure and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  


• A confident communicator and natural relationship builder
  


• Organised and capable of multitasking effectively
  


• A logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  


• Detail-oriented and accurate in their work
  


• A team player who is keen to grow with the business
