Job Description - Hiring for Service Manager

An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated automotive professional to join a successful and growing multi-franchise dealership operation in Port Hedland, Western Australia.

We are seeking a hands-on Service Manager who can lead from the front, drive workshop performance, build

strong customer relationships, and develop a high-performing aftersales team.This is an exciting leadership role offering excellent long-term career prospects, strong earning potential, and the

About the Role

Reporting to senior dealership management, you will take full responsibility for the daily operations and

performance of the service department.

You will lead a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Workshop Staff while ensuring exceptional customer

service, workshop efficiency, and overall departmental profitability.

Key Responsibilities

∙Oversee all daily service department operations

∙Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and profitability

∙Lead, mentor, and develop service and workshop teams

∙Ensure outstanding customer service and aftersales support

∙Monitor workflow, repair quality, and workshop performance

∙Manage customer concerns and deliver positive outcomes

∙Develop strategies to improve service sales and profitability

∙Manage departmental KPIs, budgets, and financial performance

∙Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety standards

∙Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Requirements

Requirements:

Previous
experience as a Service Manager.
Strong
leadership and team management skills.
Experience
in automotive or heavy vehicle workshop operations.
Excellent
communication and customer service skills.
Ability
to manage workflow and meet operational deadlines.
Candidates
must currently be based in Australia.
