Home Lending Specialist - Opportunity to Make a Difference

An opportunity exists for a dynamic and experienced Home Lending Specialist to join our lending team.

As one of our dynamic Home Loan Specialists, you’ll be responsible for helping our members achieve their financial goals by providing them with tailored home lending solutions.

We are searching for a dedicated, values-driven and service-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional loan experiences for our members. With highly competitive, award-winning products, our application volumes are strong. Ideally, you’ll have experience working in a high-volume environment and thrive on the challenge of meeting and exceeding your team targets.

The Role

Our loan applications come through an online portal. You will deal with most of your applicants via phone and digital communication channels. We need you to become their trusted advisor and point of contact, overseeing their loan journey through the credit and loan support teams.

Reporting to the Sales and Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting members with predominantly home loan enquiries and conducting needs analysis to ensure we are finding them suitable products that meet their needs
• Receiving new loan and product switch applications from our loan writer team, updating them based on your discussion with the member, and preparing them according to the credit policy prior to sending to the credit team
• Building strong relationships with our members, keeping them updated throughout their loan journey.
• Working with the wider MOVE Team to improve processes and the customer experience

The Person

• To be considered for this position you will need
• A minimum of 2+ years previous lending experience with demonstrated retail mortgage experience
• Strong sales experience preferred
• Can you keep ‘all the balls in the air’ in a busy lending role?
• Great communication skills
