The Amora Hotel Riverwalk Hotel is a 4.5 star boutique hotel located on Bridge Rd in Richmond & right on the Yarra River. The Hotel has 111 accommodation rooms with a mixture of rooms, including suites & apartments. We have 15 separate conference & event spaces that cater to all types of events. There are two bars, a Restaurant & 3 levels of commercial office space. The hotel has recently undergone a $5M refurbishment. We are now looking for a great hotel accountant to join our busy hotel.

We are looking for someone with
- Relevant hotel industry experience
- Some Tertiary Qualification
- Knowledge in Hotel Accounting including AR, AP, Payroll, balance Sheet & General Ledger
- The role reports to the Hotel GM & the Group Financial Controller
Duties
- Managing daily transactions
- Maintaining General Ledger (currently Xero)
- Weekly, Monthly & yearly management reporting
- Quarterly BAS reconciliations
- Annual Budget preparation
- Maintain Fixed Asset register
- Payroll & Statutory HR Management (Wage easy & Deputy)
- FBT Return
- Cash flow & Accounts payable management
- Maintain Creditors & Collections .Zero % above 60 days
- General Administration duties for the hotel & Office building
- Manage stock levels & Food & Beverage costs
