We are hiring an energetic Hotel Duty Manager - Front Office to join our elite team at Crystalbrook Kingsley in Newcastle, Newcastle, Maitland & Hunter NSW.

The Role

You will support the Rooms Division Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of the Front Office Department.  You will help encourage, motivate, and grow the Front Office Team to deliver service that leaves the guests dreaming of their next visit. Your finely tuned luxury aesthetic will ensure that guests and collaborators have a truly sophisticated experience at Crystalbrook Kingsley.

About You:
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and inspiring a high performing team.
  • Super cool nature under pressure and the ability to keep calm in challenging situations.
  • Hidden Technical talents that appear when Opera is black screen!
  • Guru Level knowledge of PMS (Opera)
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel
To be successful in this position, we are seeking individuals with experience in a similar Duty Manager position - ideally from the Hotel industry. You will be an invested communicator and be a natural problem solver - you should be well organised and value a team environment.

Our Hotels are collaborative and inclusive and a like minded approach will be valued. You should be open to work within a 7 day roster and this is likely to include weekends and public holidays. You will be an ideas person who uses initiative to resolve issues easily. Finally, we would appreciate strong IT skills and experience using Opera PMS would be highly regarded.
