Are you ready to take the reins of an iconic hotel in the heart of Derby, Western Australia? Look no further! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Onsite Venue Manager to become the driving force behind the success of the Hotel.

Position: Hotel General Manager β Derby
Key Responsibilities:
- π Assume full ownership of the iconic Hotel.
- π Lead and manage all facets, including bar, restaurant, TAB, and accommodation.
- π Conduct efficient staff meetings and set a stellar example.
- π Actively participate in daily operations, utilizing venue reporting and systems.
- π Innovate revenue-building ideas across all aspects of the business.
- π Demonstrate financial acumen in areas such as wage costing and P&Ls.
- π Maintain a visible presence during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends.
- π Develop and manage effective rosters.
- π Conduct stocktakes and investigate stock loss.
- π Order and maintain par levels for beverages, food, and consumables.
- π Train, motivate, and manage staff performance.
- π Recruit and induct new team members.
- π Collaborate with the Head Office team and communicate effectively with all departments.
- π Implement and execute successful promotions throughout the business.
- π Hold WA Approved Managers certification.
- π Experience with Swiftpos and RMS is advantageous.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years in a Venue Manager role.
- Previous General Manager experience in a similar hotel environment.
- Current RSA and Approved Manager Licence.
- Competent in profit and loss analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills for direct communication with the Director and weekly reporting.
- Passionate about fostering a strong team culture with ongoing development.
- Proven ability to lead by example and set the stage for high performance.
