Oaks Melbourne South Yarra Suites is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Hotel Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the property.

As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality guest experience while driving profitability and team performance. Your passion, initiative, and strategic mindset will play a key role in ensuring the property operates efficiently and achieves key business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations, presentation, and overall profitability of the property
• Lead and develop a high-performing team to reach their full potential
• Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and rostering
• Implement promotions and initiatives to increase occupancy and sales
• Analyse performance data and make strategic decisions to maximise RevPAR
• Maintain a strong guest focus, ensuring service standards and satisfaction remain high

To be successful you will require the following experience:

• Extensive operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
• Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership experience, with the ability to drive a culture of accountability and promote staff engagement
• A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning
• Ability to build, maintain and seek new opportunities / partnerships within the local market
• A positive and energetic attitude
• An infectious passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and creating loyalty of guests
