We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and commercially savvy Hotel Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and help shape the next chapter of one of Australia's most iconic luxury hotels. This opportunity is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, inspires high-performing teams, and is passionate about delivering exceptional results for guests, talent and owners. 

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager functions as the strategic leader of hotel operations. You will provide strategic oversight for operational departments including Rooms, Engineering, Housekeeping, Beverage & Food and Spa while driving commercial performance, guest satisfaction and talent engagement.  You will work closely with discipline leaders to execute operational strategy, elevate service delivery and ensure the hotel consistently exceeds brand and business expectations. 

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Driving operational excellence across all areas of the hotel


• Leading, coaching and developing talent


• Delivering strong financial performance through effective revenue, labour and cost management


• Championing guest satisfaction and luxury service standards


• Creating an engaging, inclusive and high-performing culture aligned with Marriott's "Put People First" philosophy


• Identifying opportunities for innovation, operational improvement and business growth


• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, security and legislative requirements


• Leading hotel operations during critical incidents and emergency situations when required

About You

You are a proven hotel operations leader with a passion for people and performance.  You combine commercial acumen with emotional intelligence and understand how to build teams that consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Significant senior leadership experience within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment


• Strong understanding of Rooms, Beverage & Food and hotel operations


• Demonstrated success managing budgets, profitability and operational performance


• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills


• Experience developing and leading high-performing teams


• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions


• A hands-on leadership style with a visible presence throughout the hotel


• A passion for innovation, guest experience and talent development
