ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our organisation and grow our HR & Talent function on a national company-wide level.  

Based in the Sydney CBD, you’ll be the sole HR function supporting the Head Office and Retail teams across Australia. 

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead high quality recruitment and selection processes ensuring appropriate recruitment strategies to maximise talent selection Management of full employee life cycle including but not limited to onboarding, managing probationary periods, and supporting offboarding activities
  • Maximise the development, career potential and retention of high-performance employees 
  • Undertake employee surveys, gather exit interview data to drive continuous improvement in P&C
  • Utilise our external HR Advice and Support team to guide you through performance management and ER issues
  • Provide guidance, advice and coach Retail managers in relation to performance management issues 
  • Create and distribute monthly employee newsletter 
  • Organise annual and half yearly Performance Reviews and report results to Executive Team
  • Partner with stakeholders in the development and implementation of effective and creative engagement & retention initiatives such as reward & recognition initiatives
  • Identify training needs and work with National Retail Manager and Training Manager to ensure ongoing training is provided to our team
  • Participate in the continual development of HR programs such as culture initiatives, communication, recognition and retention initiatives

 

ABOUT YOU 

  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Recruitment or HR role
  • Experience in the retail industry is preferred but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience working within fast paced, dynamic workplace 
  • Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders to coach, guide and influence across the business and build strong stakeholder relationships
