HR and Operations Manager

Responsible for a broad range of HR and daily operational deliverables for a small and dynamic team of dedicated high-achieving experts in their field of expertise

The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager the role of HR and Operations Manager is critical and multi-faceted, responsible for the people culture and operational support for a small and dynamic team with a scope incorporating employee relations local policy procedure and safety regulations and compliance ensuring alignment with the company procedures, nurturing a positive company culture, and overseeing time sheet accuracy for external payroll processing.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Recognised as a dynamic and seasoned HR professional, renowned for your hands-on approach to managing and supporting a trade-based workforce.
• A solid foundation of professional experience, you bring an exceptional understanding of industry-specific HR challenges.
• Admired for your passion and drive for cultivating a positive and supportive work environment while maintaining rigorous accountability standards.
• Your proactive nature, meticulous attention to detail, and superior communication skills distinguish you.
• Excel in navigating complex HR issues with the highest level of professionalism and discretion, demonstrating your profound expertise in fostering both a thriving culture and robust compliance within the workplace and can provide expert advice on HR Operations matters.
• With both an operational and strategic approach, you drive initiatives that enhance employee well-being and organisational effectiveness.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting work health and safety procedures.
• Experience with Project Management - highly regarded

Other considerations:

• You will be required to provide a current Police Check or are happy to obtain one.
• You will be required to undertake a psychometric assessment.
• You will need to be comfortable in wearing a uniform - (all employees wear one)
