Job Description - HR & Business Specialist (Mandarin Speaker)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an HR & Business Specialist to provide a comprehensive perspective on our company's back office operations, including HR, Administration, and Trade Operations. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, clear communicator who excels in both independent and team settings, particularly in solving challenges within a fast-paced environment.

This role will report directly to the Regional Manager at our Melbourne office and the Head of the Integrated Management Department at our Hangzhou office. While primarily based in a typical office setting, occasional business travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full recruitment life cycle and implement HR policies.
  • Manage payroll, tax, insurance, and OA system accounts.
  • Manage employee benefits, training, performance review, labor law compliance, and corporate branding issues.
  • Handle company administrative matters.
  • Interface with stakeholders including attorneys, accountants, government agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Assist non-Chinese-speaking traders with internal team communications.
  • Coordinate daily business operations with upstream and downstream clients and support physical trading administration tasks
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, legal compliance, and HR teams based in Hangzhou and Singapore
  • Perform other tasks as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top-tier institution; all majors are welcome to apply.
  • Strong logical thinking and excellent communication skills.
  • Diligent, self-disciplined, and willing to overcome challenges.
  • Exceptional time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.
  • No prior full-time work experience required.

Monthly Salary: 7920 AU$. The company offers a comprehensive benefit package and performance-based bonus.
