Job Description - HR Coordinator - Urgent Position

This opportunity doesn't come around often! The business is looking for a HR Generalist who will be responsible for a broad range of human resource duties across the business in Australia. An excellent opportunity for a HR professional looking to grow and learn within a global business.
  
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Support employee engagement from onboarding to offboarding procedures
- Own and deliver special HR initiatives or projects as needed.
- Lead and resolve employee relations issues with diligence and compassion
- Generally, support and foster an HR “culture of excellence.
- Escalate to Managing Director any issues where external consultation is required, to engage expert consulting on HR matters or immigration VISA processes.
- General HR administration, HRIS and reporting
- Collaborate with HR team members to identify and share best practices, support, or create new programs, and foster an HR culture of excellence.
  
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in a HR role
- Knowledge of and continuous learning in employee engagement, employment law, employee relations, and project management
- Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS suite tools
- An excellent communicator: explains complicated concepts simply and clearly
- Approachable, open, and visible. A relationship builder who is perceptive and listens and shows high emotional intelligence.
- Positive, resilient, dependable, flexible, credible, diplomatic, action-oriented, customer-focused, detail oriented, manages conflict, and manages priorities
- Exposure to fast paced, growth environments with an intrapreneurial spirit
- Appreciation and experience thriving in a multi-cultural work environment
- Experience working with an HRIS and other HR cloud-based tools
