Vanguard Laundry is a social enterprise commercial laundry based in Toowoomba, purpose built to provide jobs and career opportunities for people with a background of social disadvantage. Our purpose is to empower people beyond their barriers to employment.

We're seeking a passionate and organised HR Project Coordinator to join our team  for a fixed-term contract (part-time or full-time) over 3-6 months to smash out some HR project work. 

About the role

As our HR Project Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the design, implementation and/or refinement of several critical HR processes, policies and systems. We have a scope of work to be completed and external expertise available as needed to ensure you are supported and successful in overhauling our critical HR processes and systems so that we are confident in our people practices moving forward.

To excel in this role, you'll need a strong generalist HR background, be autonomous, motivated and not afraid of a challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

The scope of works to be executed includes:

• Wage compliance review
• Policy, procedure and contracts audit
• HRIS system (Employment Hero) audit and process improvements
• Establish HR reporting and dashboard mechanisms
• Design and implement induction, training and compliance tools
• Embed performance improvement/management processes

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification in Human Resources or related field will be highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a HR generalist role.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS applications and MS Office Suite.
• Experience with Employment Hero will be a strong advantage.
