HR Truck Driver - Rapid Progression

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Driver with a positive attitude to join our team. The HR Driver will be responsible for loading, safely securing & unloading machines and materials at the warehouse & various job sites around Sydney & NSW and occasionally interstate while complying with relevant road safety regulations. This is a full time, permanent position Monday to Friday and may be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and may need to work some evenings, away overnight and weekends as needed.

The position includes various warehouse duties when not driving with the ability to work in a team environment. This includes but is not limited to: Picking/Packing of jobs, stock take, operating forklift, general warehousing, vehicle & yard maintenance (including Inspecting vehicles for mechanical & safety issues and reporting any problems to the supervisor).

Some knowledge of Machine Repairs & Maintenance an advantage but not essential.

Requirements:

• Valid HR driver's license and Recent driving record (copies’ to be provided)
• Experience operating a variety of vehicles
• Valid Fork Lift Licence
• Ability to lift heavy objects – Occasionally a site will require hand unloading/loading.
• Knowledge of Road Safety Regulations & Load Restraint Guidelines with a strong focus on Safety.
• Must be able to work safely, follow safe work policies and procedures. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• A General Construction Induction Card (White card).
• A Police Check & Working with Children Check maybe required for certain sites.

Must be Australian Permanent Resident.
