Our group Health Safety and Environment Team team are continuing to grow and looking for a HSE Advisor to support across a spectrum of challenging and interesting projects in WA, NT and also supporting greater group throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

We're looking for people who want to challenge traditional thinking and prepared to challenge themselves. If this is you, this is how to can assist with our team:

• Conducting and participate in site audits, steering risk mitigation efforts, and ensuring robust injury management, including managing workers' compensation claims and contributing significantly to incident investigations.

• Providing HSE advice and guidance to project teams, underpinned by a robust understanding of legal and regulatory compliance, to foster a culture of safety and responsiveness.

• Actively participating in project work and delivering on HSE project development, offering technical insights that propel Aurecon's strategic HSE objectives forward.

• Serving as the first point of contact for HSE inquiries, offering frontline support to on-site teams, and playing a critical role in the successful deployment of HSE programs.

• Collaborating with the HSE Business Partner to address business requirements, championing safe practices to safeguard our people and our operations.

What can you bring to the team?

• Proven experience in HSE with requisite qualifications, complemented by an engaging approach to safety innovation.

• Experience in HSE Risk management processes, coupled with a sound technical background and a comprehensive grasp of the relevant legislative frameworks.

• A history of direct involvement in incident analysis, risk assessments, and the implementation of robust corrective measures.

• Qualifications in auditing are advantageous, signalling a commitment to continuous improvement and a learning mindset.

• Proven track record of ability to coach and influence stakeholders to proactively own their safety responsibilities and meet their company required expectations.

• Digital and innovative mindset that is looking to implement forward moving HSE frameworks that demonstrate Aurecon’s commitment to digital advancement in industry.
