Join Our East Coast FIFO Safety Team – HSE Opportunity

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated HSE Advisor to join our FIFO East Coast Safety team.  This role is ideal for an experienced FIFO safety professional looking to play a key role in managing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives across regional operations.

Reporting directly to site managers, you will work closely with on-site teams to ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, leading safety programs, delivering Toolbox talks, and supporting food safety initiatives and audits.

Our client site is the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project, located in the Kosciuszko National Park. This position offers FIFO opportunities from Brisbane or Sydney, operating on a 14:7 roster.

About You:

You are an experienced safety professional with a proven track record in senior safety roles, ideally within mining, civil, or facilities maintenance industries. You have a passion for fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and you thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment.  

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (mandatory)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
• A current, full Manual Driver’s License for operating site vehicles (desirable)
• Familiarity with ICAM and Root Cause Incident Investigation
• Understanding of Food Safety principals Inc. HACCP compliance knowledge (desired)
• Strong time management, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
