HSEQ Manager (Site Based Construction Role) - Immediate Start

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction HSEQ Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide HSE leadership to HSE Advisors, Supervisors, and staff on-site.
• Develop and implement structure, systems, and documentation to support continuous HSEQ improvement in the business, aiming to make it industry-leading.
• Manage and enhance our HSEQ system and drive company-wide improvements.
• Provide authority, guidance, and advice on critical WHS risks and standards (e.g., Chain of Responsibility - CoR) to ensure full compliance.
• Lead site-based health, safety, and environment activities to ensure the competence and well-being of personnel, equipment integrity, and safe material handling.
• Ensure all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately trained in Moec site safety procedures and systems and comply with them.
• Conduct safety investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Attend and contribute to daily pre-start meetings.
• Develop and conduct Toolbox Talks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, legislation, and our client's HSEQ management system.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections.
• Manage and coordinate document control of project HSEQ records.
• Update, improve, and implement HSEQ documentation to a high standard.

During Project Downtime:

• Drive industry leading company HSEQ and ISO systems at the Brisbane head office.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven safety leadership in pipeline construction and gas gathering projects.
• Formal Australian OHS qualifications.
• TAE Trainer Assessor certification (desirable).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and preparation of HSE management plans/documentation.
• Strong experience in managing and improving HSE systems.

Additional Requirements:

• Availability to start work in the next 2-4 weeks and pass a pre-employment medical.
• Roster: 18 days on, 10 days off (paid travel on day 1 and day 10 of RnR). Vehicle provided. Work starting in 2-6 weeks.
