Teaching students to develop a better understanding of the world around them, including history, culture and systems.
Understanding of how to differentiate learning to cater for students' needs to maximise student learning

About you:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:
A strong commitment to Christian education and a desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Excellent classroom practice, communication skills and classroom management.
A commitment to academic excellence and high expectations for student learning.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and families.
A collaborative approach to planning and developing engaging learning experiences.
Experience with Stage 6 HSC courses, with the ability to teach one or more of Geography, Business Studies, Economics, Ancient History
Experience with Stage 4 and 5 Geography and Commerce highly desired.
A commitment to ongoing professional learning and growth.
A pastoral mindset and confidence in sharing faith appropriately within a Christian school context.
An understanding of the wellbeing needs of adolescents.
A willingness to actively contribute to the co-curricular life of the College.
