The role is on a 5:2, 4:3 roster with the 5 days on spent in our Perth Corporate Office and 4 Days on spent Onsite in the Goldfields. 

Duties included: 

• Offer support, coaching, and guidance to managers on performance and conduct issues, ensuring alignment with Saltbush's policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Manage the resolution of employee grievances, including case management and conducting investigations when necessary.
• Create and deliver internal workshops and training sessions to enhance managerial skills and competencies in all areas of people management, such as performance reviews and leadership seminars.
• Actively seek, develop, and integrate opportunities to improve Saltbush's systems, procedures, and templates.
• Participate in wider Saltbush projects and initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience.

Essential Criteria:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, or relevant field, or actively undertaking HR studies with significant industry experience of 3+ years
• Previous experience in a HR officer or Generalist role with exposure to the Mining or Heavy Industrial sectors
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant legislation, awards and HR practices and policies
• Current unencumbered WA C Class Drivers Licence
