Human Resources Business Partner

Our client is a prominent provider of integrated maintenance, engineering and project services with locations throughout Australia, servicing the mining, industrial, telecommunications and energy sectors. With over 2800 personnel and continued growth they are seeking to appoint an HR Business Partner to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Principal HR Advisor and based in their new Perth office, this role will partner with operational management and deliver on issue resolution, HR projects and compliance requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching, mentoring & training leadership in HR practices and legislative requirements as well as supporting efficient case management including complex investigations, performance management and discipline proceedings. Delivery of ad-hoc HR Projects and initiatives is expected, and this role will provide accurate advice regarding HR legislation and contractual entitlements.

To be successful in this role you must have extensive experience in an HR generalist or advisory role with a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent. Current knowledge of the FWA and other employment related legislation is expected as is exposure within mining, construction or maintenance services environments. This role requires attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and delegate, as well as a true passion for teamwork and supporting others with mentoring and coaching.
