About Direct Care Resources:

Direct Care Resources is a well-established care provider in Southeast Queensland, with a focus on supported independent living, community access, and child protection services. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, the organisation is dedicated to participant care, health, safety, and well-being. 

What you’ll do:

• Facilitate recruitment and selection activities for support workers (processing applications, phone screening, assessment and interviewing)


• Respond to internal and external HR related enquiries in accordance with DCR policy and procedures and consult with management as required


• Compliance and engagement management of the workforce


• Work with managers to assess and address training and development needs, build capacity, support staff retention and drive a high-performance culture


• Reporting key workforce metrics to leadership         

What we’re looking for:

• Working towards or completed tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or a similar field highly desirable 


• Two (2) years of experience in a similar role


• Demonstrated high-level communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and personal presentation skills, particularly in relation to positively managing the interface between a commercial enterprise and government organisation.


• Experience in learning management systems, human resource management systems and organisational management systems highly desirable
