Human Resources Coordinator - Join a Market Leader

TeamHEALTH has become the leading not for profit provider of mental health services in the Top End of the Northern Territory, providing outreach services, support and advocacy for Territorians with mental illness for over 30 years.

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for coordination, management and delivery of compliant and best practice human resources solutions to ensure TeamHEALTH’s human resources framework is relevant and supports the activities of the Association.

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Business Supports the Human Resources Coordinator is a true HR generalist, developing and implementing solutions across a range of human resources functions ensuring the key functions of human resource management are compliant and achieved to a high standard. 

The role will require the Human Resources Coordinator be ‘hands-on’ in the completion of tasks and to work closely with the Participant Services areas of the organisation to ensure smooth implementation of human resources strategies and initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Diploma qualification (minimum) in human resources and/or a relevant discipline plus five (5) years human resources experience. 
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple accountabilities and a record of successfully managing competing priorities under pressure and within tight timeframes.
• Demonstrated high level of communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to interact with a culturally diverse range of people.
• Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships, both externally and internally, that add value and lead to long-term relationships and satisfaction with service.
• Working knowledge of Modern Awards and legislation and standards associated with employment. 
• Demonstrated experience and success across a generalist HR portfolio.

The successful applicant will be required to have a current National Police Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, NT Driver’s Licence and completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
