HVAC Technician - Collaborative Environment

About the Role:

• Install and set up systems according to engineering specifications, standards and codes.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in systems, including identifying and replacing faulty components.

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to systems, analysing complex problems, and implementing effective solutions.

• Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and manufacturer guidelines while carrying out maintenance tasks.

• Identify and address safety hazards promptly and report any incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel.

• May be required to work outside of normal work hours on occasion, inclusive of weekends and night shift.

• On-call available.

Essential Skills required for this position are:

• Current Trade Qualification
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Current SA Drivers Licence
• Construction Industry White Card
• DCSI Working with Children Clearance
• Equipped with own Tool Kit
• Willing to undergo National Police Check
• Hands on experience with repairs, emergency breakdowns and maintenance on a variety of assets in commercial backgrounds
