We're partnering with a global leader in real estate and critical facilities management, to recruit an experienced Data Centre Shift Engineer for a high-profile site in Canary Wharf.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer with Data Centre or Critical Environment experience

Offer - DC Shift Engineer

Paying up to £60,000 per annum
20 shift days annual leave
Continental Shift Pattern
Over Time (1.5x Monday to Saturday, 2x on Sunday and Bank Holiday)

The Opportunity

To ensure site Electrical systems are operated and maintained to the required codes of practice and industry guidelines.
Ensure the PPM's for the as built equipment is fully maintained and carried out in a high calibre and on time.
To carry out day-to-day maintenance and reactive issues relating to all the electrical equipment and assets.
Complete information and feed back to computer based systems particularly the PPM systemWhat We're Looking For

✔ HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person)

✔ City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Qualification (or equivalent)

✔ Strong building services and critical environment experience

✔ Knowledge of Permit to Work systems

✔ Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation

✔ Experience using CMMS and BMS systems

✔ Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Desirable Experience

⭐ Previous Data Centre experience

⭐ HV Switching experience

⭐ 18th Edition

⭐ Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship
