IAM Business Analyst (Sydney or Melbourne) - Energetic Workplace

As part a major business transformation journey, our client is building the Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability. Many of these projects are at shaping stage, and we’re looking for professionals with IAM experience to leave the value propositions, requirements, product selection, design, build and implementation. This portfolio of work will support a significant part of the organisations Digital plans and investment for this year and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity to join early and influence at the outset of a significant multi-year program. The primary purpose of the Senior Tech BA- IAM, is the delivery of business, technical and process analysis associated with IAM Program Initiatives and support for implementation of organisational change management strategies.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

To be successful in this role, you will:

ESSENTIAL:

• Gather requirements, supporting an IAM technical vision, working across functional groups, aligning with IAM projects, and delivering business agility.
• Strong familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Privilege Accounts management processes and tools is a strong requirement for this role.
• 3-5 years hands-on and recent experience as an Identity Access Management and System Integrator with at least one large (40k+ user) organisation using IAM suites such as OKTA, Single Sign-on, Entra ID, Microsoft AD, CyberArk etc.
• Good understanding of Cloud Services and Cloud based IT Assets (specifically AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms) and their respective IDAM capabilities
• Capturing, documenting, analysing, refining and communicating functional & non-functional requirements across IAM domains such as Identity Data Handling; Identity and Access Lifecycles; Access Governance and Review; Role-Based and Attribute-Based Access Control; B2C, B2E and B2B Identities; Privileged Access Management, Reporting, and analytics
• Strong analytical skills, and extensive experience with the “end-to-end” IDAM lifecycle processes will be critical for this role.
• Good grasp of operational, regulatory, and other IAM risks. Should be able to work independently with business stakeholders to capture IAM use cases and processes, then consult Cybersecurity, Architecture and Product stakeholders to refine.
• Translation of IAM Strategy into a deliverable set of technical capabilities, services, and solutions.
• Analyse current state and future state of operating model and work with colleagues to highlight gaps and finalise Operating Model for transitioning to Production.
• Be skilled in vendor management, including hardware and software providers and consultants. Some RFP exposure is beneficial
• Present solutions to key stakeholders clearly and concisely.
• Prepare estimates and statements of work, ensure delivery meets business objectives and timeline.
• Work within an Agile/sprint framework, including an understanding of the methodology and perform in such ceremonies as stand ups, sprint planning, retro and showcase.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely across the technology and the business teams.

Desirable:

• Full understanding of user access lifecycle and authentication processes.
• Solid understanding of IDAM concepts (joiners, movers, leavers, roles and entitlements, account provisioning, de-provisioning.
• Tertiary degree in IT Management, Computer Science, or related discipline and/or formal IDAM or IDAM-related Certification highly advantageous.
• Experience working with electronic medical records, patient portals, health applications, medical platforms and systems integration.
• ​​​Previous experience in the health care sector and working with confidential health data.
