ICT Facilities Officer

Our client URGENTLY requires an ICT Facilities Officer for a 6 months + Contract in Fyshwick, ACT.

The ICT Facilities Officer will assist in the management of data centres, communications rooms and all associated infrastructure currently managed by the ICT Facilities Infrastructure and Operations team, ensuring the timely response and rectification work of all activities in accordance with relevant service level agreements.

Skills and Experience required include:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience of data centre and communications ICT infrastructure including security and environmental controls, power, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units, generators, air conditioning and structured data cabling.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the design and implementation of data centres, communications rooms and ICT infrastructure and understanding of backup and data recovery procedures including storage media management
• Experience in using data centre infrastructure management (DCIM), systems monitoring and/or data backup and restoration products would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework would be desirable.

Must have a (minimum) NV1 security clearance.
