ICT Operations Management and Planning Officer - Urgent Role

About the Role:
An esteemed government department is seeking up to two skilled professionals for the Telecommunications and Data Centre Support Section within its Information Management and Technology Division.This role involves providing comprehensive ICT Operations Management and Planning Support, under the direction of the TCS Director.

About You:
You are a proactive and experienced ICT professional with a strong background in secure government environments. You possess a deep understanding of technology service management and have demonstrable skills in procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.Your excellent communication skills will aid you in preparing executive briefs and strategy documents.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 Months + 12 Months
Requirements:

• MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE NV2
• Selection Criteria Response

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management
• Planning Support
• Procurement and Contract Management support
• Stakeholder engagement
• Budget and Financial Planning Support
• Executive Briefings
• Preparation of briefs and strategy documentation for executive dissemination
• Development of technical and functional requirements for market approaches
• Assistance with the technical evaluation of Tenders and Quotes

 
Essential Criteria:

• Active NV2 Security Clearance
• Demonstrated experience working in secure government departments
• Understanding of voice, video, mobile, satellite, and terrestrial carriage fundamentals
• Strong understanding of Government procurement processes

 
Desirable Criteria:

• Experience working in Government operational and tactical environments
• Understanding of global operating environments
